We’re a team of diverse, passionate, engaged and capable people, committed to being responsive and making an impact.The Role:The Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a key role in driving the growth and sustainability of Woodville Alliance by identifying, developing, and securing new opportunities aligned with our mission and strategic goals.Reporting directly to the CEO, the BDM is responsible for leading business development initiatives across the organisation, developing strategic partnerships, securing government funding, and expanding client engagement and acquisition. The role also provides strategic insight and market analysis to inform the future direction of services.Main Duties Develop and implement business development strategies that align with organisational priorities and financial sustainability. Identify and secure new clients, stakeholders, and partnerships across the disability, mental health, and community services sectors.Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform opportunity pipelines.Lead the grant and tender writing process, including identifying funding opportunities and developing submissions.Build referral networks and ensure responsive and supportive intake conversion.Collaborate with service delivery, communications, and finance teams to ensure successful implementation of growth strategies.Represent Woodville Alliance at external events, community forums, and strategic meetings.Maintain accurate reporting on all business development activities and outcomes.Selection Criteria:Tertiary qualifications in Business Development, Marketing, Commerce, Community Services or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Minimum of 5 years experience in business development, customer engagement, or stakeholder management roles.Proven ability to drive service uptake or sales in a values based environment.Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with experience building strategic partnerships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with operational and communications teams.Understanding of the Disability, ECEC, or community services landscape is highly desirable.A current and clear National Police Check and a valid Driver’s Licence. How to ApplyPlease click apply now to send your Cover Letter and Resume. The Role:
